Our Story

The story of Divyam Cards began in the early 90s when graphic designer Prabodh Jain founded a design studio at Gopalapuram in Chennai in south India. An experienced graphic designer, Prabodh has worked with a corporate client list that includes, among others, Naidu Hall, Nathella Jewels, and Larsen & Toubro Limited. Prabodh initially became captivated by screen printing while designing wedding invitations for friends and close family members, and eventually turned his talent into a flourishing design practice.

I noticed a distinct lack of choices when it came to well-designed and well-finished invitations that represented an Indian sensibility. People I knew personally would ask me to design for them and I found that creating a design that exactly matched their requirements was a source of great delight to me, says Prabodh.

Today, the business is overseen by his wife Tara Jain and managed by a team of staff, most of whom have been with the company since its early days.
