At Divyam, we ensure that all utensils, bardana, and dinnerware are delivered and collected with the utmost care, professionalism, and hygiene. This Delivery & Pickup Policy defines the timelines, responsibilities, and terms to ensure a smooth and transparent process for every customer.
1. Delivery Timelines
- Utensils and equipment will generally be delivered 1 day before the event, or as per the schedule confirmed at the time of booking.
- Delivery timings will be mutually agreed upon between the customer and Divyam's logistics team.
- Customers must confirm venue details, entry permissions, and delivery access points well in advance to avoid delays.
2. Pickup Timelines
- Pickup will generally be done within 6β12 hours after the event.
- Customers must ensure utensils are ready and accessible for pickup at the scheduled time.
- Any delay caused by the customer (due to inaccessibility, venue closure, or unavailability of staff) may attract additional handling or rental charges.
3. Delivery & Pickup Charges
- Divyam currently provides delivery and pickup services within Prayagraj city limits.
- Standard packages include delivery and pickup within the defined area.
- For locations outside Prayagraj, additional transport and labour charges may apply and will be clearly mentioned at the time of quotation or booking.
4. Customer Responsibilities
- The customer must ensure timely venue access for both delivery and pickup.
- All leftover food must be removed before pickup, and utensils should be returned in a basic clean condition.
- Customers must store utensils securely after the event until pickup is completed.
- The customer will be responsible for any loss, theft, or damage occurring during the holding period.
5. Handling & Safety
- All utensils and equipment are handled only by Divyam's trained logistics team following our hygiene protocols.
- Customers are requested not to allow any unauthorized individuals to handle Divyam utensils during delivery or pickup.
- Any misuse or mishandling of utensils after delivery is solely the customer's responsibility.
- For high-value events, Divyam may deploy a supervisor to oversee loading and unloading activities.
6. Rescheduling of Delivery or Pickup
- If the customer wishes to reschedule delivery or pickup, prior intimation of at least 48 hours is required.
- Rescheduling will be confirmed based on logistics slot availability.
- If rescheduling leads to additional costs (such as overtime, transport, or manpower), such costs will be communicated and charged separately.
7. Force Majeure
- Divyam shall not be held responsible for delivery or pickup delays caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to:
- β’ Natural calamities or severe weather conditions
- β’ Strikes, roadblocks, or political disturbances
- β’ Sudden traffic restrictions or logistical breakdowns
- β’ Any other unforeseen events that prevent timely execution
- In such cases, Divyam will make all reasonable efforts to communicate promptly and arrange alternate logistics schedules where feasible.
